The Patron of the Children's Heart Fund of Ethiopia (CHFE) (Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Hussen Al Amoudi) has approved 48 Million Birr (nearly 3 Million USD) for the completion of CHFE's sustainablity program.

This is in addition to the nearly 17 Million Birr the project has costed sofar an amount covered by the Patron. When completd, this project is expected to generate enough fund that will ensure the long term sustainability of CHFE. In the mean time, the Petron will continue to cover most of our day to day expenses. |

Prof. Vib Keshettry, a re-knowned Cardiac Surgeon has been here early in december of 2011 leading a team and operating upon our patients. More importantly, he is facilitating training opportunities for our candidates to go outside the country and acquire the skills they need .The chain of HoP-UK is also involved in this endeavour.

Surgical and Interventional missions led by Dr. Richrd S.D'. Agostino and T. Pimonte from Boston in the USA etc... These missions have brought the total number of patients treated since inaguration to more than 540 patients.
